I recently got involved in a discussion with a friend that led me to find out something interesting about myself. I am one of those people who doesn’t like it when a doctor or dentist talks too much during an exam. I assumed that everyone felt this way but the discussion with my friend made me realize that some people really like it when the service provider does a lot of talking.

To me, it just doesn’t make sense for some doctors to do a lot of talking. For example, I was getting some Washington DC cosmetic dentistry done at one point (nothing too serious, just Washington DC invisalign braces and whatnot) and the Washington D C dentist insisted on talking throughout the whole procedure. What was worse was that he was asking me questions. You can’t talk easily when you have a dentist working in your mouth so the whole conversation was just awkward.

It’s not just dentists that I don’t like talking at me. It’s most doctors. And massage therapists for that matter. But I guess not everyone feels this way. My friend said that she feels a lot more comfortable when the doctor is chatting away about nothing rather than just being clinical. As for me, I’d prefer that the doctor just do the job he’s there to do!

If you have a toddler that wants to get dressed up for Halloween, you may be considering getting really elaborate Halloween costumes. That’s because it’s so fun to buy costumes for kids this age since it’s so cute to see them all dressed up.

You should definitely get toddler halloween costumes but you don’t have to go all out on name brand costumes for kids this age. Instead go with basic costumes. Here are some popular examples:

• Fairy costumes and other magical girly costumes. Young girls look adorable all dressed up like fairies, butterflies and princesses.
• Animal costumes. Bumble bees, cats and dog halloween costumes are all popular for toddlers and they’re all really cute.
• Food costumes. Kids look amusingly funny dressed up as pumpkins, pizzas and plates of food. They won’t likely want to do this as they get older so take advantage of the chance to snap those photos now.

It’s possible to get elaborate toddler costumes that incorporate their favorite toys and movies into the design. However, it’s really not necessary at this age. There will be plenty of time for that as your kids grow into the little consumers that they’re bound to be soon! Enjoy the chance to see them in some more basic costumes while they are young.

One of the most exciting things in the world is when you find something hidden in a place that you didn’t expect it. You know, like when you find a $5 bill stuffed in the pocket of a pair of jeans that you hadn’t worn in awhile. $5 isn’t a big deal but the fun of finding money in that unexpected place makes all the difference in the level of excitement that you experience.

With that in mind, imagine that you buy a new truck that comes with a tool box as part of the sale. Of course, if you find something that’s got a lot of monetary value then you should probably do the right thing and return it to the buyer. Buy you might discover a cool jacket or a tool you’ve never used before that you could consider keeping. Even if you return the item, the thrill of finding it in that unexpected place will stay with you.
