Admiring Custom Plates
By Store in Automotive | 0 comments
I’ve always been a fan of custom license plates. The colors, shapes, and additional designs they sport are both interesting and a nice refresher from the two or three plate designs you see almost everywhere else you go. That said, I am not always a fan of people who take the custom plate design theory and apply it to every aspect of their vehicle. The reason is that most people seem to be sadly lacking in basic taste.
First, there are those who plaster window decals over every corner of their vehicle. Some are funny, some are redundant, and some are downright obnoxious. But, when they start blocking out viewable space through the back of the car, it’s just dangerous and makes me want to say something.
For those that think magnetic car signs are a good idea for anyone other than someone with a delivery truck or company vehicle, you are sorely mistaken. You had better be advertising something; otherwise, it’s just plain annoying to see you touting your beliefs over every corner of your vehicle so vehemently. Then again, if I agree with you, I’ll usually give the thumbs up and a honk.
