I would Give My Right Arm for a Decent Book on This Stuff

I won’t say there are no good books out there about Powerpoint. That would be a lie. I have most of them sitting in a pile somewhere gathering dust. Most of the time, it takes no more than a few weeks for someone to whip up a new book on any given topic. If a new program is released, there’s a book full of tips for it on day one. Powerpoint is no different, but the Powerpoint tips that come in these books tend not to cover everything I need to know. There are no really useful Powerpoint templates and it makes me wonder if the guy who write these books is in fact a Powerpoint designer or if they are just a writer in a home office trying to regurgitate the content they found on a free templates website.
I’m being a little harsh, but when I spend that much money for a guide, I want to make sure I can actually find the content I need to solve my problems. I don’t enjoy spending that much time trying to figure out what I’m doing, only to find that there is no real answer and that I have to start over again. It’s frustrating and it’s time wasting.
